The finalists of the 2012 UK Lingerie Awards have been announced and we are extremely happy to announce that Tatu Couture has been chosen as a finalist in the ‘New Designer of the Year’ category at the 2012 UK Lingerie Awards!

The 2012 UK Lingerie Awards ceremony will take place on September 19th at the beautiful London venue – One Mayfar.

Tatu Couture is very excited about the opening of its first stockist in The Netherlands - Louve Lingerie which opened last month. Light artist Paul van Laak and Judith Pouwelse have opened the lingerie concept store in Rotterdam, in which they combine lingerie and light art. The store carries a unique selection of exclusive labels for both male and female clients. Tatu Couture is very proud to be amongst carefully selected brands such as Damaris, The Lake & Stars, Made by Niki, La Fille d’ O and The White Briefs.
The store also functions as an exhibition space for Van Laak’s light designs, bringing together light and lingerie to form the basis of the vision Paul and Judith wanted to create:
“We find it important to have a collection that represents the beauty of each design individually. The use of light is an essential factor. The idea behind this concept is the way light and lingerie are intertwined while opening up our mind-set and strengthening our character”.
